Our Mission

Bear Canyon Table Tennis Group (BCTTG) is a loose collection of Bear Canyon Senior Center (BCSC) members that get together to have fun playing Table Tennis.

Where Do We Play?

Join us at the Bear Canyon Senior Center in their large activities room (the lunch room) four (4) days a week. We have space for five tables (all relatively new), one of which is set aside for begniners. We usually play doubles because of the number of people that want to play. Occasionaly we have 30 people, or more, wanting to play on a Saturday.

BCSC is closed on all holidays recognized by the City of Albuquerque.

Note 1 - BCSC will also schedule one-time events, like a local computer club, craft show, health fair or Senior Olympics qualifying function, in place of our Friday and/or Saturday time slots.

Note 2 - The third Friday of every month is a ice cream/pie/cake social that requires us to be scheduled to start at 3 PM but if there are no activities planned between lunch and 3 PM we can usually start early after the lunch goers have finished lunch (about 1:30 PM).

Note 3 - This is an usually singles competition with more serious players (all 5 tables) as opposed to the recreational doubles played all the other sessions.
